The UKEB is the UK National Standard Setter for international accounting standards. It is responsible for deciding which international accounting standards are adopted for use in the UK.

The UKEB serves the UK long-term public good by leading the debate on the development of high-quality international accounting standards that are suitable for adoption in the UK. It develops and synthesises UK views on financial reporting and presents them in the international arena to maintain an influential and effective UK voice.

Colleges Scotland’s primary role is to support colleges and the regional strategic body in achieving their aims and objectives, and to cultivate the strength of the college sector in Scotland. This is achieved through advocating and campaigning on behalf of the college sector, co-ordinating sector-wide engagement on major issues, policy development, and maintaining strong and proactive relationships with government, sector agencies and industry bodies. We are an independent Foundation founded in 1990, closely connected to Santander UK. After a recent strategy review, we have a renewed focus and ambition. Our new mission is to support young people, primarily aged 16-19, in the Further Education system. This is an underfunded area, and there is an exciting opportunity to play a leading role in creating change for some of the most disadvantaged young people in the UK.

The Hepworth Wakefield has welcomed over 3 million visitors since opening in May 2011 and is now established as one of the most successful public art galleries in the UK, attracting critical acclaim and audiences from around the world.

We present an ambitious programme of major exhibitions of the best international modern and contemporary art, alongside innovative displays drawn from Wakefield’s growing art collection. Central to our work is our learning programme that engages schools, families, adults and local community groups through inspiring creative learning opportunities. In 2019, we opened The Hepworth Wakefield Garden, designed by Tom Stuart-Smith, to complement our David Chipperfield-designed gallery and provide an inspiring public garden, free for all to enjoy. We have recently been joined by neighbours Tileyard North, who have developed the 19th century mill complex opposite the gallery into a vibrant hub for the creative industries. We are now embarking upon two capital projects to complete our wider waterfront site, including returning our much-loved playground and creating a workshop and yard space for our Gardener and her team of volunteers.

Whitechapel Gallery was established in 1901 in East London – home, then as now, to working class and migrant communities – with the aim of bringing “the finest art of the world to the people of the East End”. Over a century later, the Gallery is celebrated for being one of the most exciting, relevant and thought-provoking public spaces in the UK, making contemporary art and ideas accessible and engaging to audiences everywhere.

IWM was founded on 5 March 1917 when the War Cabinet approved a proposal by Sir Alfred Mond MP for the creation of a national war museum to record the events still taking place during the Great War. The intention was to collect and display material as a record of everyone’s experiences during that war - civilian and military - and to commemorate the sacrifices of all sections of society.

IWM is a global leader in developing and communicating a deeper understanding of the causes, course, and consequences of war.

Using the personal stories and experiences in our unique collections, our objective is to challenge people of all ages to look at war and conflict from different perspectives.

The mission of the foundation is to empower people in our communities to lead more secure, connected and fulfilling lives through targeted support and inclusive opportunities. The foundation will provide services and support to people across our region in areas such as employment, skills and training, financial support, digital literacy, community investment and health and wellbeing, as well as tackling loneliness and food poverty, while embedding sound social value.

The foundation will achieve this through tailored support, services and partnerships. This will include widening access to the Karbon Group’s well-established services, such as our Money Matters service, one of the largest advice services in the region, and our Employability and Skills service, formally our Foundations for Life Team, who support individuals with the skills and training they need to get into work and find the right opportunities for them, among other services and partnerships.

As part of the Karbon Group, the foundation will benefit from the Group’s extensive experience in housing and community support. The Group builds, owns and manages around 34,000 homes across the North, going further to build better lives for its customers, not just better homes.

The Climate Coalition came together over 20 years ago and has grown to become the UK’s biggest group of people dedicated to action on climate change, with a combined supporter base of more than 22 million people. We encompass over 130 organisations spanning nature, environment, international development, faith, health, community and women’s groups – from the National Trust, WWF, the Women’s Institute, to Islamic Relief as well as local climate groups.

People are powerful when they come together: The Climate Coalition platforms and mobilises collective action for climate and nature; develops shared insights and narratives; and provides shared infrastructure to bring organisations together, to channel their collective action and create the space for sustained political change.
