DesignationOne believes in the principle that talent, knowledge, and ambition are equally distributed. Diversity and Inclusion lead to greater innovation, improved decision-making, and better business results. Our goal is to break down the barriers to enter the boardroom and to restructured the exclusive system in place.

1 Matching diverse talent to board opportunities: We aim to break down the exclusivity and barriers to board service. To achieve this, we are building apipeline of potential and current diverse and inclusive board members, trustees, and governors through the development of an open web-based matching tool.
2 Accelerate diverse and inclusive talents to the board level: We assist diverse talent in making connections and career choices to include board service with increasing responsibility. We further create pathways from entrance into board service with foundations and non-profits to service on for-profit boards.
3 D&I for board design: We provide guidance to introduce diversity and inclusion practices into board statutes, and in the development of open, skills-based recruitment.

Our mission is to steer talent and guide organizations to achieve balance at board level to optimize board performance and to fully reflect communities. We assist with widespread change in long standing behavior in a way which is both enduring and effective. As boards embrace the idea of reflecting the societies they serve, their approach will shift from tapping into personal networks toward an open, skills-based process.
